2. Public Consultation and Feedback.

Social Marketing Gateway presented the key findings from the public consultation survey – see report.

SMG – extremely good response rate for the survey and the engagement events showed that residents are passionate and want to be engaged with how Redditch moves forward. Although some projects were less supported than others all projects were beneficial projects to take forward.

Board members were encouraged by the response from the consultation which supported existing regeneration projects.

VH noted some findings form the report were not fitting with the evidence base gathered by Mott Macdonald such as the comments around broadband. VH to discuss further with SMG. Amendments to make with regards to the layout of the final report as it will be included in the appendices of the final TIP submission.

Discussion around skills and how this fit with different business sectors requirements, how will this link into the proposed idea of the innovation centre and the college. Offline meeting to be held with the college.
