YMCA Worcestershire – transforming communities so that all young people truly belong, contribute and thrive.

I began as CEO for our YMCA in December 2020 – just before the first Covid Christmas – and have been privileged to steer our wonderful charity through some challenging times as we seek to consolidate, evolve and grow in our delivery and impact for young people and the communities in which they live. 

Our work includes early years (nursery provision), youth work, prison work (with prisoners and their families), supported and general needs housing and we work through our Christian values to transform through transition.  Our main office is based in Church Hill, Redditch.

• I have a real heart for working with people and helping them to blossom and flourish for great impact.
• Problem solving and creating strong foundations is a key part of my approach.
• Keeping an eye on our purpose and impact is essential for driving forward so we don’t lose sight of our vision and mission.
• I love to inspire and empower my colleagues and those with whom we work and very much welcome the chance to develop local partnerships.

Especially, I want to support our young people in realising their gifts and, in their turn, enable them to change the world for the better.
